im just gonna dump the factory oil today. its at 1800km right now and its probably overkill but at least it'll give me some piece of mind that im not spinning metal shavings around in the engine. ill dump it again at 8000km and continue their normal 5k(miles or 8000km) oil intervals (weird its only 5k and conventional 5w30 on the LC)
i was always curious if the tranny had a similar break in schedule. i tried looking online and it seems nobody does that. But isnt that the same deal? doesnt the tranny have some metal shavings in the fluid?
