For my bus riding childhood, the 6V92TA was my top favourite engine growing up
IIRC TransLink was getting $1000 per each scrapped D40(HF) but i was in grade 11 and I didn’t have a place to store a bus (still don’t) haha.
Series 50 was so noisy I wasn’t too much of a fan during the time but now it’s so nostalgic. 8.5L 4-cyl turbo diesel what the.
The Cummins never really did it for me though....

Always had quite a deep disdain for the Nova buses. Quality off the bat was always just so subpar.

I do really miss the electric whine of the E902 trolleys. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like we can ride one anytime soon as the drive parts were stolen from the bus in storage at the transit museum.
