The double deckers aren't too bad if it's cruising on the highway, once it gets into town doing local stops, it's border line hell depending on where you sit. All of the Decker's are equipped with the ZF transmission which means it's going to jerk, slip and bang into gears.
From what I've heard, when we had the double decker demonstrator, it was equipped with the Allison transmission and it was day and night in terms of drivability.

What models are the double deckers? My local route just got a new fleet of
Dennis 500 and they're SO much more comfortable and quiet compared to the old one. Also the door swung inside, meaning a lot of wasted space next to the door during crowded times
Drier too - old ones didn't seal fully at the doors, so during a storm the entire floor would be soaked.. One time I had to take off my shoes because there was an inch of water on the floor of the bus
