This GFM campaigned "is organized by Shaelyn's and Simone's friends and loved ones." -- you can see the organizers at the bottom of the campaign description. Personally, I have some small reservations in the sense that I am not absolutely certain whether the GFM campaign is legit, but I am leaning towards it being a genuine thing. And if this was a scam, then it absolutely needs to get called out.
