The team is certainly not playing in unison. You can see that there is friction between certain players.
Schenn and Miller got into an argument at the end of the second period in the Sabres game after another Miller turnover.
Schenn was gesturing with his stick about the proper play to get rid of the puck, Miller was yapping back at Schenn.

Miller has made so many turnovers in six games so far that he can open a bakery selling apple turnovers.
In my opinion, JT is not committed to playing defence.
He makes the stupid and high risk pass in the Canucks zone instead of getting rid of the puck along the side boards.
That bonehead play that Miller made in the game against Columbus of trying to use his skates to tie up the puck in the Canucks zone lead to a turnover and a goal. A prime example of Miller either not wanting or not knowing how to play defence properly.
He is one player that I was hoping that Allvin traded to another team during the off-season in order to help the team’s depth and improve the defensive corps.
