Rumour is that it was about what happened in Monaco, that he crashed on purpose.

Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since he was in 3rd when he crashed. I don't get what would be Perez's motivation for doing so, especially how many other times he's moved out of Max's way.

Maybe it was less nefarious, like wasn't supposed to be in front of Max during that Monaco quali session (Maybe the team released him, or he left when he shouldn't have or somethinjg)

Either way, there's really no excuse to carry the grudge all the way to now, and try to get retribution in a way that could cost not just the teammate 2nd in the championship, but the team itself. Yes, I'm sure red bull still very much want the bragging rights of a 1-2 Driver's championship standing.

There's being a ruthless competitor, but then there's just being a selfish, petty child.
