I find that die-hard or ill-informed Moonwatch fans despise variants of the Speedmaster, and this is one of them. Also, doesn't the green remind you of the vomit emoji?
The watch community (or dare I say it, watch companies and bloggers/influencers) have created a cult of Moonwatch admirers where it has become an iconic, must-have piece to the "serious" watch enthusiast. Its earned its merit in being a solid, reliable watch to earn its place among watch enthusiasts, but this was sort of my middle finger to the world.
I like the Speedmaster and the Moonwatch, but for all intents and purposes, it wasn't a priority to have one in my collection. I often go against the grain and have managed to explore a lot of brands which don't end up in peoples collections outside of the usual Rolex or Omega and I've really enjoyed the opportunity to look outside the norms of watch collecting social conventions.
There are a lot of neat brands out there such as Jaeger-LeCoultre, Glasshute Original, A.Lange & Sohne etc. that often get looked over but deserve some attention.

I've come to appreciate retro designs as of late such as the Glasshute Original Seventies and the Heuer "Skipper." This is a great example of retro design. Very nice watch!
