Yup instead of gradually changing the rules to handle a slowly increasing hospital load, they just let all hell break loose after pointlessly trying to keep it to 0 cases all along
They don't even test anymore, but Beijing alone is probably more than 50% infected.. 10 million people.. Most will be fine with this strain, but elderly are still very susceptible and hospitals will be completely fucked. Crematoriums are already overloaded so bodies will be piling up in huge numbers
Of course they're lifting rules here too, and are talking about opening the border to China right when this is all happening
