Most camping headlights have adjustable elastic bands, you should be able to "strap" it across the two front wheels. The light will likely wobble unless you can get it to sit across the front bumper, but that sounds like the easiest way.
Headlamps usually take triple A's and last a while, so no need for constant removal.
