$30 an hour used to be a fairly decent wage in Vancouver.
Fast forward to the average 1BR costing around $1,800-$2,000 to rent,-- it's become quite paltry.
It's actually crazy how much a viable wage has digressed in such a short amount of time here.
It's a problem breaking all of our major systems in this city. I'm actually surprised this hasn't become more of a hot button topic than it currently is in this local narrative here.
