I was about to post the same. Hughes and Petey are on the upswing of their prime. We can't waste the next 3-5 yrs on a rebuild. However if the team is still shit, that's when the timeliness lines up for an actual rebuild.

Yes and no. He's an added option to make PP1 setup look different or he can anchor PP2

Because if this team doesn't make an effort to try to build around him and Hughes to be even somewhat competitive he would most def walk. 2 seasons ago during an interview, Horvat basically called out the management during a press how they need to do something as they're tired of losing.

These guys aren't gonna sit around and wait it out. If they're 20 then perhaps.
