^ That's just irresponsible though... it's the samementality that puts people like Trump in power... oh I want someone there just because I want to watch certain people suffer a bit and have a laugh.
It's a bit immature? Like... okay sure, next thing you know a bunch of legitimate social groups also lose their rights, gay or marginalized people lose things they've fought for, abortion becomes illegal and scientific facts become fodder for jokes in favour of religious beliefs or conjecture?
I mean, if the leader of the Conservative party was someone less cray cray and there were less cray crays in the party itself... sure... maybe time for a diff approach for awhile see how it goes... but to go 1920 on things socially just to have a chuckle at some "snowflakes" seems pretty short sighted.
