thats my biggest gripe with PPF. most installers leave the edges and it looks like shit after a while. That black grime builds up and you can clearly see where the PPF is.
Also PPF isnt/wasnt that cheap so if youre spending 5-6k for a full body ppf, you might as well do a wrap for 6-7k which offers PPF like protection but more interesting colors.
PPF also comes in some colors nowadays and even this chromatic one which is clear, but adds a pretty neat rainbow-y effect once light hits it.

i was quoted 7k for a full body stealth ppf, no way am i gonna spend that much for a car without a special paint option/edition
ive been fine all my life without ppf and im sure ill be fine going forward haha
