His Mama deserves a tonne of credit for being his official rep for contract extensions.
I hope that Lamar paid his Mom well for all her hard work!
FYI: This is how much money that Lamar saved from not having to pay commission to an agent.
Per the Washington Post, agents will receive between 1.5 percent and up to 3 percent, which is the maximum for contracts.
For Jackson, that means he could have lost up to $7.8 million to an agent, if he were to lose 3 percent of the full $260 million. He also could have lost a minimum of $2,775,000, had he lost 1.5 percent of the $185 million.

On the contract but he's probably lost a lot more than that in potential endorsements that an agent would have had incentives to go out and seek for him, pretty sure he's taking a net negative on not using an agent just based on other things he's missing out on and doesn't understand nor should he because it's not his field.
Dak is out there with a huge bag from Nike, nobody going to convince me that Nike wouldn't have wanted Lamar rocking the Jordan's around the field. He also is endorsed by Albertson's, AT&T, Beats, Direct TV, Frito, Pepsi, Anheuser Busch probably makes as much from that stuff as he does from football.
As my boss would say, Lamar is watching the pennies and the dollars are rolling out the door.
