Don't blame people for dreaming, but Chicago wouldn't move him for anything. Remember those graphics we got at the end of the season for Crosby and Ovechkin? If he's at that level, they'll be set up as a perennial contender for the next decade plus, and will pick up a championship or two (or more). McDavid is already doing it for the Coilers, it's pretty much just a matter of time before they strike. It took Ovechkin a while
If they were closer to being a good team part way through a rebuild that lucked out in the lottery, then maybe they'd do it to boost their rebuild by a couple years... But in this case, no way
