$2000 a month for a family of 3 is groceries if you want to eat vegetables and meat instead of cup of noodles and canned beans.
We need to pay extra for the "fancy daycare" or one of us wouldn't be able to work, because it's only the expensive ones that are open longer than 8-5. We also took the only daycare that got back to us after trying to register for 15 because they are all too full. Things aren't working for people here, as much as many think that there are ways around it.
