devil's advocate here, with #1, what are the ramifications, shouldn't it be merit based anyway? wasn't it a couple of ivy league schools putting a cap on asian students b/c they get too high marks, or required their GPA to be quite higher for entry? doesn't seem fair at all, wouldn't that remove such barrier?
#2, as a private business would they not have the right? if the would be client, was say a far right hate group, and the designer refused the work, would it be an issue? seems like if you reject 1 you need to reject all, or accept 1 accept all, if that makes sense...
#3, student loan relief: this i'm sure would have hurt tax payers as funding must come from somewhere, but seems disappointing. i felt like this would have had a large impact for people with loans, and least partisan issue. is it a matter of just saying "no" to biden's policies, or are the right usually well to do and don't want to give 'free education'... don't quite see the logic helping those get educated and inject the work force with skilled workers...
