we joke about where to move to retire sometimes and honestly we're pretty lucky that most of the time the forest fire smoke tends to blow east, and also there's nowhere really west of us for us to have to deal with smoke from that direction.
if i had to move somewhere i'd stay in BC but maybe go to the island. wouldn't go to the okanagan and have to breathe fire smoke every year.
