I watched that video yesterday and went down the rabbit hole.

It seems like farmed salmon that has been flash frozen and then kept frozen for multiple days is 99% safe to consume for sashimi. As long as the fish has been frozen for long enough, the parasites will die.

I have a chest freezer that is currently -18 degrees. It's some crappy Danby one I bought from Costco on sale. I'm sure there must be consumer available ones that go to at least -20.
And my small understanding of it is that the farmed stuff is ALL flash frozen and then defrosted on site (at least at Costco) so, in theory, it's safe to use as sashimi.
