honestly, the 2 engines were very similar to me. VTEC kicks in harder and louder than VVT
L-i. the only reason the celica was so slow is because the 4 speed auto really robbed the 2zz of it power. like all hondas the itr had much more aftermarket support and responded to engine mods alot better
