Maserati Newsroom
2024 Maserati GranTurismo TRD Pro gets the job done.
Isn't it about time a manufacturer cashed in on a jacked up exotic? The overlanders love their V8 Italian sports coupes, the off-road enthusiasts grew up and need a place to not stash the kids. The market is frothing.
3" lift, standard. 35" tires, standard. roof rack, ladder, standard.
Drivetrain
Power is sourced from a 4.8L V8 made by grafting two Tacoma's i-Force MAX 2.4L Turbo Hybrid together but removing the Turbos and the Hybrids. Because who wants efficiency or technology, not this guy. Hell nah.
Comes in 6-spd manual or 8-spd dual clutch.
It picks up a 4:1 2-speed transfer case with TORSEN limited slip center differential, enabling full-time AWD for power sliding up the highway onramp, kids screaming in the back. But the option to lock into 4WD via 4H/4L when shit gets real, a totally great system leveraged from the Toyota FJ Cruiser 6MT, may it RIP in peace.
Standard front and rear locking diffs. ATRAC too. Also crawl control, sure.
Suspension
A full set of 2.5" Fox internal bypass shocks lifts the GranTurismo sky high. Tuned for jumps but also jumping curbs, take your family on a winning run down a rally stage, or cut in through the bushes at the Wendy's drive-thru, YOUR CHOICE.
Standard E-KDSS for essentially auto swaybar disconnects, because there's no hand left to press buttons when you're helping your screaming toddler.
Towing
Show that F40 who's boss by pulling them right out of the parking space that you deserve, because with 8000lbs of towing capacity you are King of Italians with GranTurismo TRD Pro.
Available 12,000lb Warn winch, for the tougher of victims who might resist your will.
MSRP
$165,485 + destination.
