Kids will be kids, sometimes they would say something wrong just because you are trying to correct them. Stubborn things these. Mine is 4 and his speech can be wack sometimes, especially when he's tired. One particular one that comes to mind is he'll say "Sleep with you" which he actually means "sleep with me in my(his) bed".
We aren't bothered by it and he'll get around to it. I miss the days when he made up his own words and meanings.
down = stop
utdeh = orange or stroller
snung = snack
I guess I just miss 2 year old him vs the 4 year old brat right now.
Oh and yes, flu season is starting. He's got a runny nose since Friday which means post nasal drip. We are trying really hard to not let him give it to the baby cause that's a shit show and 3 halves if she gets sick. It's not helpful how you can't really get the flu shot until end of Oct.
