I kinda appreciate those walks at night as sanity walks... like if the wife/gf or dogs or kids or whatever are being just "TOO MUCH" in some way... just slowly saunter off to somewhere. I guess it's the non-smoking version of going out for a smoke.

That said, a garage would provide pretty much the same solitude lol
