Was doing Thanksgiving shopping last Friday and witnessed a kid (2-3yo?) enjoying a cupcake from one of those blister packs inside the cart near the deli section. Thought it was weird that the mother didn't stop him but I saw the rest of the cupcakes in her cart and assumed she'd just pay for it at checkout.
Anyhow, I ran into them again a few minutes later near the produce section and both the cupcake and the blister pack were gone from the shopping cart. The kid's now out on the floor running around, and I couldn't find the package anywhere. Not sure what happened to those cupcakes in the end, but my optimistic self hopes the father or someone related took them from the cart and went to pay for them.
On a lighter note, I tried those frozen Xiao Long Baos and they're absolutely delicious.
