North American lifestyle really calls for a pickup, especially when you have kids and you want to enjoy that outdoor lifestyle. Be it bikes, snowboards, the occasional load at HD/Ronas... whatever.

I always thought of buying one but never actually pulled the trigger because 95% of the time, it'd be driven as a normal car and it's just too much.

The way CT was designed, I think it fits the regular Joe perfectly. It's got no paint... so you can beat the shit out of it. It has a motorized tonneau cover, which IMO is crucial to differentiate itself from a work truck vs. a regular folk lifestyle. In work setting, you don't really care the motorized part, but for average consumer, it'd be so much nicer/easier in life.

What really pushed me over, other than being a total Tesla freak was the supposed 500miles of range. That'd be the only version I'm interested of getting. It's the perfect range of a day worth of driving. By the time I'm done driving 500 miles or so, it's about time to find a hotel and call it a day on a road trip with kids.

For those who commented it being too big, it's actually slightly shorter and narrower than a F150. So, relatively compact as far as a full size pickup goes.
