My buddy who works at openroad lexus has ran into SO SO many problems with them.
Exhaustive list of first year problems off the top of my head.
- New UI software crashing. not working, not being intuitive. The old lexus user interface was bad enough with the joystick, but this new one is even more horrid apparently
- Doors not opening during the winter time (thanks toyota for making this electronic door lock bullshit) even though car is unlocked
- gas cap misaligning to bodywork
- digital fob/2nd fob not working
- engine sounding very rough and coarse

I haven't driven it enough to make any long term ownership feedback, but based on owning it for about 6 months and short trips within the city:
- UI software doesn't bother me too much. Its actually great for us. I hate it when it gets too complicated to operate basic infotainment functions (radio/navi/settings). I haven't had any issues with apple carplay (wireless) and or other software related. It's a big upgrade over my 2018 4Runner Ltd that I previous had.
- I have the Heads up display (HUD), but i hate the touch sensitive buttons on the steering wheel as my thumbs always touch it by accident.
- Not a big of the new electric door handle. Instead of pulling the door handle outwards, there's a open button behind the handle that you press to opens the door. I miss pulling out the door handles
- Weird not hearing the 'thump' when locking and unlocking the doors; i always press lock or unlock thinking that I didn't press it correctly.
- When the gas engine turns on, it doesn't sound pleasant. It does a acceptable job getting around town but don't except to race Civic's up the hill.
- Gas mileage is suppose to be great, but we haven't driven it enough to see it yet.
- I don't have the misalign gas cap issue on my Apr/May build date RX
- We only received 1 FOB and 2 metal keys when we picked up our car in May. Still haven't heard anything yet from the dealer on when we will receive the 2nd one. I don't use the digital key to lock/unlock/start/drive (Telsa like) from the Lexus app even though it is available on our model.
- 87 octane is ok; the manual "recommends" premium, but the minimum octane is 87
