I ran a tank of the Esso-Mobil 93 in my Shxtbox, and came away pretty impressed. Prior to the mandatory ethanol blend requirements, my Shxtbox hated the (non-blended?) Esso-Mobil 91 -- the engine always runs coarse and unwilling to rev, so I rarely fill up at Esso / Mobil.
But now their 93 gas feels subjectively pretty similar to Chevron 94 -- engine smoothness, throttle response, and willingness to rev are all still a little inferior to Shell 93. But compared to before, it is actually a pretty big improvement, and I wouldn't mind running my Shxtbox on it now.
Incidentally, it seems to sell for 29¢/L more than regular (87) octane gas, compared to 32¢/L over regular with Shell V-Power 93. So at least I can sort of justify the slight performance loss lol~
