Prices in Prague have gone up quite a bit. And yes, try the beer and watch out for the jerks who give you change in their local currency when you pay in Euros.
I quite enjoyed Vienna but had a local play tour guide for me through a colleague. But I do agree it feels stuffy/expensive.
