I don't think so, I've been tossing the idea around the last 2 years. If I can move to Calgary and be mortgage free with a similar sized home and a bunch of money left over to put towards retirement it doesn't seem that backwards as opposed to staying here and downsizing to a condo to achieve the same.
I also have family there and could work from there without quitting my job so there are things that make it appealing to me. I'm originally from the prairies but the winters are not something I'd look forward to because I hate snow.
