I agree, however some places are worse than others and have no concrete plan on how to address the issues.

Some places these problems are infinitely more visible and more problematic.

We are one of those places.

There are VERY few places you go where the homelessness and drug use is so evident as it is here. Sure Seattle, Portland etc. but we are just following the same track as them. Portland woke up that decriminalization wasn’t working at least where as I feel like here in BC, we will be far more hesitant to backtrack on that, which ultimately, will only be to the detriment of your “regular” law abiding citizen
