I recently went to *the OpenRoad Honda flagship store grand opening and I thought it was pretty cool. Granted we arrived late but there was a DJ, game 6, free food (catered by Hapa Izakaya) and an open bar lol.
Granted you don't go to the Hapa for the food,
but they brought that along too. I didn't think it was douchey, but it definitely wasn't a typical Honda event. I wonder what level of douchey you experienced.
