I'm sure the 99 Conservative/BQ MP's that aren't getting a benefit will be very upset.
That said, do you really think the entire reason for pushing this through is so that 28 out of 180 MP's on the Liberal/NDP side can benefit?! that's like 10% of their party... who the heck is going to risk looking that bad for 10% especially when 30% of the opposition is benefitting?
Methinks this bill has more to do with re-election strategy than pensions. Not that shit like that is any better... but it's hardly partisan.
