It's actually some of the most fun driving you can do. The unofficial slogan is "Slow enough to be safe, but fast enough to have fun"
The average speed is "speed limit". But that's average. When you're driving through the FSR with hairpins, stop signs, etc, You can basically drive as fast as you can.. especially when you miss a turn and are trying to catch up. My favourite memory is on a wide snowy FSR in the Subaru, full throttle at full lock at like 140km/h staring out the side window, thinking I'm Colin McRae..
My least favourite memory is going down a small hill, trying to slow down but realizing its basically pure ice, and then sliding off into the snowbank and smashing up the fender and bumper.
Highly recommended. You learn a huge invaluable lesson of car control, well beyond autox, track, even drifting. Although Paved TSD might not be.. the same amount of fun.. So I would recommend Heart of Darkness, Thunderbird, Totem etc. Check the RallyBC website, though they don't update very often.
