As the brain drain accelerates you’ll only see more and more incompetence in govt. which ultimately, means more money out of your pocket.
Projects like the North short waste treatment plant and site C are only the tips of the ice burgs. How much does anyone want to bet the Massey tunnel replacement goes over budget? 25%? 50%? There isn’t even a shovel in the ground or a plan in place and you can guarantee it will be a disaster.
Canada has lost its way and unless you’ve got some $$$ things are going to get substantially worse in terms of quality of life for most. I’d love to test the waters elsewhere but things change and ultimately I may be able to later in life and not have to work at all.
In terms of schooling I already have colleagues who can barely afford to but enroll their kids in private schools to not have to deal with all the politics and BS that comes with the public system. I’m sure you can pay for an infinitely better education abroad and ultimately go wherever you want for post secondary.

Lets look at Monaco. A country with a pop of 40K. Looking at hehe's posts he is looking at living in one of the poorer area's of the country. Whats the point of living in Monaco if you don't have a yacht in the marina.
Another country he is looking at is Costa Rica. I know a Canadian who lived there for decades he and his Costarican wife moved back to Canada because it is to dangerous. You basically stay in your gated community and don't leave it unless you absolutely have to. A lot of people hire private security. Go look at what the Canadian goverment has to say.

I know next to nothing on Andorra.
