I would say no. $1549 is a lot, and this is a value-added service (aka more money in the dealership's pockets.) Think of this has a big portion of your first year's insurance for the vehicle.
You have options. First is to find a local detailer to provide the treatment. Second is to do it yourself. If you have a track record of spilling coffee, soft drinks, food, bodily fluids etc. in your car, then perhaps this is something to consider, but not at the tune of $1549. Walk away.
