I’d say the best thing about my model Y was not dealing with dealers, having to haggle with sales, getting hounded by the finance manager to buy paint protection and service. The hassle of plugging it in every day is nothing compared to going to gas stations or the dealer for oil changes.
I’d never use an EV for road trips (I don’t like planning my charges) but for a daily they are amazing.
