My wife and I probably make almost triple what my parents made at our age we have quadruple or more than they did in assets, no kids, no debt, and I’m still like damn.. subway is getting expensive

You have -no hope- in living even the slightest variation of your dreams lol.. but hey you’re “safe” if you stay inside your home and are lucky enough to be healthy.

A decade of that turns a person against the govt. in power pretty quick.

Also in terms of “financial woes aren’t life threatening” lol yea.. they kinda are.. look at the sky rocketing number of homeless. What’s going to be even worse going forward are the hidden homeless or people right on the edge. Once you’re on the streets, it’s a longggggg road back.

If you’ve got 2 children, and a household income under $150,000 in Canada, your situation is hopeless.
