I can't remember exactly but I think the garage active cars roof are cut out in the center (retaining the 'frame'), but I'm not sure I wanted to do anything like that as I'm not going to run a rollcage. Weight savings is actually the last thing on my mind, I was actually going to put padding/sound deadening inside the doors cause I hate that non-solid closing of the doors like a ratty car.
