Yes they are assholes, but on the flip side, it's a business, and they are in the business of winning. They'll do what they'll need to do to ensure pieces are in place.
I like DR, but he's only treading water with Yuki imo and hasn't had any standout performances. His on track performance has been very tentative, lacking the edge that made him a star before.
I'm surprised that they ended up keeping Perez so I guess the whole financial value thing stands as DR doesn't have that niche draw or backing money. Now that RB main team has found their issues to lineup with what Perez had been complaining about, or so they say, Perez is probably here to stay through 2025.
