What are you talking about?
You don't
lose your reservation if you show up more than 60 minutes early. Either they'll offer you boarding on the earlier ferry if there's space (of course not with reservation boarding priorty because that's not the ferry you orignally reserved for) OR they'll ask you to wait outside the terminal until your window opens. It's because they need to make the dedicated reservation lanes for your sailing and it's only an issue when they're running hourly sailings.
