I realize it technically contravenes the rules blah blah the rules are there for protection of people's safety etc etc but with careful planning the risk is so minimal at this time of year... few weeks later or November+? Sure.

I'd just prefer not to have to drive my Lexus again and give the Supra a little boot... inputs from experienced travellers welcome!
Leave early in the morning and once you’re past the coquilhala you should be good.
