I have a mix of BC and AB plate cars right now, not sure how I’m gonna end up sorting it all out.

My MR2 and IS300 still have BC plates and collector ones on the MR2… the Kia still has a BC plate too. Try to keep it that way for the time being I guess, I changed my addresses for them and my license to my parents house.

Easy for me to say as an armchair GM new to the places but I feel like one of the biggest things they need to address in Calgary is how they combat snow and ice driving. They use a rock and salt mix and seems like pretty much everyone replaces a windshield annually if not more than once annually. That’s crazy especially with rising industry costs so insurers are possibly paying out like $1500/year per car if that’s the case…how can they make money?

The city needs to invest in equipment that can suck up or vacuum up those rocks every spring instead of leaving that shit around to just flow off to the sides where you see it piled up all summer near curbs or on the shoulders of all the highways.
