Trump is from fucking New York, another Democratic, coastal city, which in the past was almost invalidating. If he can do it, so can Newsom.
Newsom's track record in California is also very impressive in terms of what he's been able to accomplish in that State (even if people like Joe Rogan call him the incarnate of the devil)
