A decade of Russian disinformation and poor education coincided with post covid recession, and people got mad because gas and eggs are expensive. And so here we are. Ulic is right; there are a LOT of idiots in the voting pool.
Russia and China are elated with this. It makes me sad (but unsurprised) to see people in here cheering it on, but Canada will likely get pretty fucked. Hope the trolls are ready for that. Selfishly, as a permanent resident of a Chinese region, I hope I get some benefit, or at least avoid catastrophe. We shall see!
