Civic, we're snow birding it, I hate the winter so I get away as much as I can. My spouse is a nurse so she ended up taking a travel contract down here, and I work 100% remotely, so I'm usually fucking off somewhere in the winter for a few months (usually Puerto Vallarta or Phoenix). It's 30 degrees today here in San Antonio, but I think Texas will be a one and done for us, the lack of access to public land in the outdoors, and overall infrastructure makes this place a Republican wasteland of sorts, I much prefer Arizona.
We're looking to do Hawaii for the winter next year if the dollar doesn't keep ass fucking us.

Ah I've always associated Snowbirds with old retired folk but I guess we can be ones too these days with remote work
I took "South Texas" to mean right up against the Mexican border I thought you were taking on a new career as a coyote smuggling Latinos across the Rio Grande. Enjoy, San Antonio was my favorite city in Texas, plus you can always drive to Austin if you wanna visit California
