That was me at my first full time job. It was toxic as hell.

The manager was useless.
The most senior member of the team was always trying usurp the manager. He was also trying to hold on to a ton of things that he didn't understand or can't operate just so he seemed important. We called him out for it and he had to let it go.
The rest of the team was equally as useless, but at least they were just useless and not ambitious AND useless.
The pay was terrible, I was barely making ends meet after I moved out

I bought my MS3 before I moved out because I thought I was going to be living at home. I regretted buying the car for the whole year I worked at that place.

I got a 67% raise jumping to my next job. I was respected. The team was happy instead of bickering all the time. I didn't have to commute to Richmond and back everyday.

It was probably one of my happiest years of my career.
The other happiest year was when I met the best manager I had and we formed, imo, the best 3 man team I've worked at.
