Imagine forcing "democracy" or American values onto Afghanistan just to give it back to the "demonized" Talis LOL. I'm not gonna pretend to know much about miltary spending and what not, but the amount of lives lost and families ruined in Afghanistan, as an outsider - they should have just stayed out and kept their mouths shut.

Yes, well I suppose this is a different question in my mind. I guess the myth of American exceptionalism and also the well oiled propaganda machine. 100% the Bush years were a cluster fuck.... though they seem tame now.
