I went through like 3 months of core training with a personal trainer twice a week. Then I did about 6 weeks or so of strength training doing heavier and heavier lifts… now I’m just starting a 3 month hyper trophy phase.
All told I’m about 15lbs heavier than I was when I started but not fatter, so all muscle I guess… in almost every way I feel way better and more stable and stronger and agile. The only thing I will say that I feel is a negative is that besides always being hungry I feel like at thr floor hockey I play once a week that I’m a bit slower with the extra weight? Maybe just my imagination but I feel like my top end burn speed is a bit down.
