Their ESPN+ deal ends this year, so we're about to find out how big they are as a TV property. Streamers are looking to add more live/sports content, so they will be highly sought after by default. That would probably be what Dana is talking about yeah. Netflix already works with WWE worldwide, and they stopped doing PPV long ago. (if you didn't know, WWE is merged with UFC)
They recently did a $4 million gate, breaking the Climate Pledge Arena gate record, with a random shitty Fight Night card. So people are still buying these high priced tickets even in non MAGA country.
I dunno man. Maybe they're losing popularity but I don't see it. At least with WWE even if you think the product sucks, they have star power. UFC has boring religious guys with beards and tattoos. Fighters got too good, so only the boring guys make it to the top now.
