Ottawa is a nice city other than the brutal winters. I used to visit quite a lot as a close friend lives there and I always enjoyed visiting.
Would you consider something on the island though? I feel it's so underrated for a young family. Comox, Courtenay, Qualicum, Parksville etc - all lovely places.

2 car garage with 12ft ceilings means I can put a stacker in there and still have a home gym/office. I'd be mortgage free if I moved to the island living a great life.
